“Oh, you build wooden huts! Tiny houses too?
Or for the garden…?”

Yes, we sometimes hear questions like that too. And of course, our huts can be used in a wide variety of ways. They are traditionally used to sell goods or food. Whether it's sweets at the Christmas market or handicrafts at the spring festival, goods can be presented and sold optimally here. During the festival season, the smaller huts with a width of 2 or 3 meters are also often used for ticket sales or entry control.

Although we do have customers who use their cabins outdoors all year round and are very happy with it, we still recommend that you dismantle and reassemble the cabins between uses. The wood has been treated accordingly and is extremely robust, but it is and remains a natural product. Some of the first cabins that Fjord Cabins built almost 30 years ago are still in use - appropriate care makes it possible.

Accordingly, our huts are not intended to be used as tiny houses - that's simply comparing apples and oranges. The huts are waterproof and robust, and their rustic charm also conveys a certain comfort. But to create a fully-fledged living space, a lot more would of course be necessary, for example in terms of insulation, electrics, etc. As the saying goes: "Shoemaker, stick to your last!" That's why we're sticking with it and continuing to manufacture long-lasting huts and event furniture for a wide variety of events all year round.
