More efficiency in
surface treatment data sheet

The actual production of our huts begins with cutting and preparing the material. Panels are sawn, slabs are planed, smooth-edged boards and KVH are cut to the right lengths and much more. In this production area, we have been able to significantly optimize our processes over the last few years. On the one hand, by purchasing modern and efficient machines, and on the other hand, by improving processes and constantly developing the construction methods of our huts and other products.
What has always lagged somewhat behind, considering the enormous progress made in cutting and later assembly, was the area of surface treatment. Although the purchase of a smaller automatic coating machine for varnishing the slabs did save time, the fact remained that painting panels and numerous strips, boards, etc. took a lot of time. Last but not least, there is of course a qualitative difference between manual and automated paint application.

Given the continuously increasing production figures, it was only a logical consequence that we had to, or rather wanted to, make a major investment in the painting area - and so we recently put a large Duo FlexSpray painting machine into operation. With this machine, we are able to glaze and paint large quantities in a very short time, even with just one person at the machine. The quality has increased enormously again and the processing times in the painting area have been significantly shortened.
Another advantage is that we are extremely flexible when it comes to staff planning, as operating the machine is very easy after a short introduction. Depending on the situation, we decide in which area we can best deploy our staff or temporary staff, and can therefore "go with the flow" of the respective needs. It is great fun when the production processes are so "smooth" and the quality of the products is simply really good - after all, that is also our claim, which is reflected in our slogan "Quality and passion from Northern Germany".
